Superga®, the inspiring Italian footwear brand, is thrilled to announce its latest campaign ambassador for FW 2022, as one of this year’s most original style icons, Iris Law. As the brands newest ambassador, Iris perfectly embodies the true heritage of Superga®with her effortless personal style and laid back attitude.

Since her debut on the fashion circuit, Iris Law has grown a familiar face and inspiration across the industry, bringing to Superga®a noticeably modern touch to its FW 2022 campaign.

With a penchant for nostalgia, Iris wanted to put her own twist on how to wear Superga®’s most iconic styles whilst preserving the brand’s roots.

As the new ambassador for Superga®, renowned as the “People’s shoes of Italy’’, Iris is a welcoming encounter which respects and disrupts Superga®’s heritage, perfectly embodying the authentic spirit of the brand, where the stories from the past inspire to create new history.

With a long history with tennis, once famous for shoes on-the-court, the new Autumn/Winter 2022 campaign was shot at The National Tennis Association on the world class tennis courts used by notable British Tennis Players, by Lea Colombo, eclectic photographer and director, known for her intimate images, distinct style and exploration of color. Paris based stylist, Virginie Benarroch, dressed Iris in clothing in a series of tennis-inspired and effortless looks.

For the campaign, Iris wanted to respect the Italian origin and timeless silhouette of the brand and champion the staple styles that can be worn across season to season.

Focusing on Superga®’s Classic 2750, a style that was conceived as the first Italian tennis shoe over 100 years ago by the owner of the brand and the upgraded 2641 Alpina High boot, inspired by trekking boots in the 50s.

The campaign also puts the focus on some new styles, including the 3041 Revolley Colourblock Platform and the 799 Rubber Boots Lettering, perfect for adventures in the great outdoors or rainy days in the city.
